Sberbank launches service warning user about fraudster calling

MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Sberbank has launched in its mobile application a service checking incoming calls to warn the user about fraudsters, a bank spokesperson told PRIME on Thursday.

“Now one can switch on a service to check incoming calls that will warn that it is a fraudster who calls in mobile application Sberbank Online. It’s enough to visit section Security on the main screen and activate button Check Incoming Calls in the settings,” the spokesperson said.

The service is available in the applications for Android and iOS devices.

The bank’s base contains over 600,000 fraudulent numbers.
